Content Standards
InnerText is a creator SMS platform serving content creators, athletes, musicians, actors, and professionals. These content standards apply to all creators on the platform.
All creators, fans, messages, media, links, calls, profiles, and uploaded content must comply with our Terms of Use and these standards.
How Content Rules Work on InnerText
InnerText operates under two separate content compliance layers:
Layer 1: SMS Message Body (Carrier Rules)
US carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon) enforce SHAFT guidelines on SMS message content. All text sent through InnerText (1:1 messages, mass messages, and auto-responses) must comply with carrier rules. Flirtatious and suggestive language is allowed. Explicit sexual content is not. See SMS Message Rules below for the full list.
Layer 2: Platform Content (InnerText Rules)
Media content distributed through InnerText's PPV unlock pages, vault, and subscription flows is governed by InnerText's platform rules, subject to the absolute prohibitions listed below.
SMS Message Rules
The following rules apply to the SMS message body:
- Sexual content: No explicit sexual content in the message body. Premium media content may be distributed via PPV payment links.
- Hate content: Harassment, slurs, extremist content, or attacks on protected groups.
- Alcohol: Content that promotes unsafe consumption or targets minors.
- Firearms: Illegal sale, trade, modification, use, or threats involving weapons.
- Tobacco and controlled substances: Tobacco, vaping, illegal drugs, or misuse of controlled substances.
Absolute Prohibitions
The following are prohibited on InnerText at all times, across all content layers:
- Sexual content involving minors (CSAM): zero tolerance, reported to authorities
- Non-consensual content of any kind
- Content that facilitates real-world violence or self-harm
- Hate content (racial/ethnic slurs, calls for violence against groups)
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive payment practices
- Spam or bulk unsolicited messaging to non-subscribers
- Content that violates copyright, privacy, or other third-party rights
Reporting and Enforcement
InnerText may review, remove, block, suspend, terminate, withhold payouts, or report content or accounts that violate these standards. To report a violation, email support@inner-text.com.
