Send your first mass message

Mass messages let you write once and send to a whole segment of your fans. It's the workhorse of your account: daily drops, PPV announcements, special offers.

How to send one

  1. Open the Inbox and click New mass message.
  2. Pick your audience. Choose all subscribers, or filter by tag (VIP only, Whales only, paying tier 2+, etc.).
  3. Exclude tags you don't want included, for example, exclude Refunded.
  4. Compose your message. You can attach images, video, or a PPV unlock.
  5. Preview the count. InnerText shows you exactly how many fans will receive it before you send.
  6. Send. The queue drains at roughly 1 message per second per number to stay inside carrier limits.

Tag-based targeting is the unlock

Plain "send to everyone" mass messages work, but the creators who earn the most segment ruthlessly:

  • VIPs: bigger PPV prices, more personal language
  • Whales: top spenders, one-of-one drops
  • Free / Trial: conversion offers ("upgrade for 24h")
  • Cold (no purchase in 30 days): win-back content

See Tag fans for setting these up.

Delivery & throttling

InnerText sends through your dedicated number at the carrier-imposed rate. If your list is large, the send can take several minutes to fully drain. The Mass Message log updates in real time with delivered / failed counts.

What you can and can't send

Mass messages follow the same SHAFT and STOP rules as 1:1 messages. Don't put explicit content in the SMS body; gate it behind a PPV unlock instead. Full rules: SHAFT: what you can and can't text.

Cancel a sending message

You can hit Stop on an in-progress mass send. Already-delivered messages stay delivered; remaining queue gets dropped.
