Connect your payout method

You don't get paid until you've added a payout method. You can earn before then (your balance accrues) but no money moves until this is finished.

Methods available

MethodBest forSpeed
ACHUS creators with a US bank account1–3 business days
WireInternational creators2–5 business days
PaxumInternational, instant e-walletSame day

Most US creators use ACH. Most international creators use Paxum unless they specifically prefer wires to their bank.

What you'll need

InnerText routes payouts through our payment processor (Segpay). They handle the actual transfer and the KYC that goes with it. You'll provide:

  • Legal name: exactly as it appears on your government ID
  • Legal address: billing address on the bank or Paxum account
  • Tax info: SSN (US) or EIN (US business). Non-US creators: a tax ID from your country.
  • Bank or Paxum details: routing + account number (ACH/wire), email (Paxum)

Everything you enter goes directly to the processor; InnerText doesn't store your full SSN or routing number on our side.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Payouts.
  2. Pick your method.
  3. Fill in the form. Double-check the legal name and account number; a typo here delays your first payout.
  4. Submit. The processor verifies (usually within a few hours; ACH can take overnight).
  5. Once verified, your balance becomes eligible for the next bi-weekly run.

Changing your method later

You can update bank or Paxum details anytime. Any in-flight payout already submitted to the processor will go to the old method; changes apply to future runs.

Tax forms

If you're a US creator and you cross $600 in earnings in a calendar year, the processor will request a W-9 through their portal. Non-US creators may be asked for a W-8BEN. You'll get an email when it's time to file.

Once a payout method is connected, see When and how you get paid for the schedule and the 80/20 split.
